Normal Cleaning

Contact the cleaning company to schedule a time for curtain removal and installation. Then, a team of 2 (depending on the size of your house) will come to your place to take down your curtains. Some companies will inform the customers on the spot once they’ve identified issues like colour fades, torn and shrinkage of the curtains before proceeding. After removing your curtains, they will bring them back to their cleaning facility. Their laundry workers need to determine the type of cleaning (dry cleaning or wet cleaning) based on your curtain material. Once the cleaning is done, they will iron before reinstalling back based on the agreed time.

Steam Cleaning

You arrange a cleaning session with the cleaning company. The company will send 2 technicians to your house. To begin with, they vacuum your curtains to extract particulate soils. Then, they will apply cleaning solutions on your curtains to loosen oily soils and agitate the surface of your curtains. After that, they use super-heated steaming/ wet extraction equipment to finish the cleaning process. They fold or pleat or steam iron the curtains to return them to their original appearance. All steps are done while the curtains are hanging at their original place.

Normal Cleaning

It requires around 5 days as there are much more works involved. For those days without curtains, you might need to prepare some replacement curtains if you’re not used to it.
